Lombard Life Sciences was founded with a mandate to fund early stage commercialization of life science discoveries and develop innovative new products. The past decade's exponential growth in biotechnology has created a gap between new discoveries and the translation of that information into products for prevention, detection and treatment of human disease.

Universities and research institutes have a strong track record of basic science discoveries. While basic research grants are available through governments and various agencies, few opportunities exist to obtain funding for commercialization of basic research discoveries, to help them move from the bench to the bedside.

We are here to bridge that gap.
